Nora Bossong
Nora Bossong, born in 1982 in Bremen, is a writer of poetry, novels and essays. She was 2001 Fellow of the first Wolfenbüttel literature laboratory. She studied literature at the German Institute for Literature, as well as cultural studies, philosophy and comparative literature at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the University of Potsdam, and the Sapienza University of Rome.
She has been the recipient of several awards, including the Peter Huchel Prize, the Art Prize Berlin, the KranichsteinerLiteraturpreis 2019 and the Joseph Breitbach Prize 2020. One of her books, Rules of Engagement, was longlisted for the German Book Prize 2019. Nora Bossong’s works have been translated into various languages. Since April 2017 Nora Bossong has been a member of the advisory board of the PEN association of writers.
